A SYDNEY woman was committed at Maitland Local Court yesterday to stand trial on a charge of negligent driving causing death.

Charlein Iris Howe, 57, of Burnie St, Blacktown, is charged with driving negligently on December 28 last year at Belford near Singleton, causing the death of Sandra Chiper. A second charge of driving in a manner dangerous was adjourned to March 13 next year.
